Just saw an aftermath of one of the more brutal accidents I've seen in person. My usual gas station route home involves the twisty and winding one lane road along old Toh Tuck Road into the junction of IMM. This stretch of road is usually scattered with foreign workers from India and China. They would sit along the roads having a picnic and drinks.
This being a public holiday and no work the next day meant that more were out on the streets making merry. All good in that. However all it takes is one reckless/asleep/drunk/insane driver to send it all straight to hell. The lorry went straight at the S bend. Rammed into the side of the walls. And ran down god knows how many persons along the pavements.
From what I heard on the ground there were 2 dead and many others injured. I could even see one of the dead. His head was under the front tire of the truck. Splattered, blood spilled everywhere. I could even see his brains on the ground. It did not help when the Civil Defense came and shone their spotlights under the truck.
No pics will be posted obviously due to the extremely graphic nature of the accidents.
