I can't decide the color to use for the bases of my new Guardsmen.

Help me out a little? Which one do you prefer?

What's your favourite breakfast?

Let's take a look at something most of us take for granted, skip, or maybe just plainly not care. Breakfast. The meal to kick-start the day. And probably the only meal you are really hungry about. Why? With most average dinner times being 7-8pm. That would mean your body has gone without food for almost 10-12hrs throughout the night and into the dawn. Your body is hungry, regardless of what your brain tells you.

My favourite breakfast (in no particular order of preference)

1. Lor Duck Kway Teow Noodles Dry

2.Kway Chap (pig intestines & innards for you non-Singaporean readers)

3.Vegetarian Beehoon

4.Prawn Noodles Soup

5. Nasi Padang (malay mixed rice, yes with mutton rendang and the works)

Some of my choices seem heavy, especially the Nasi Padang (who eats rice for breakfast)? Strangely that seems to be the only rice dish I would choose for breakfast. Kway Chap is always a nice and light meal (while maintaning the power). Although I know many people who would not even eat intestines any time of the day! Hah!

Let's hear what you guys think and like to eat for breakfast.

Life should be celebrated and good.

It's strange how people lead their lives. Or choose to do so. What could mean happiness to you does not mean it will be the same for someone else. But sometimes you wonder how a person can allow such things to go through, or happen to them. They may be doing what they want some might argue, but most of the time its blatantly clear that they do not know what they are doing in the first place.

Seeing how these things happen (especially to those you once held so dear in your lives) take the left hand path simply shatters your heart all over again.

I do not speak for anyone. Only myself. And I will offer a silent prayer (not to a god, but to living humans) that things will eventually turn out good. And the light will shine pure once again.

More slaves to the painting machine.

Sandra's been bitten by my painting bug and I graciously donated my Tyranid Army (which I bought years ago but never really got around painting them) to her. She has been helping me a little here and there on my other army painting (just dabbing plain straighforward colors, glueing sand to the bases, you know the mundane stuff) which has helped the progress quite abit. Here you can see here finally getting a go at painting up entire miniatures herself. (Of course under the watchful eye of the Emperor's finest painter, namely me.) Look at her standard of painting for a first timer. 

All these Tyranid painting only mean one thing to me. More Xenos scum for the Emperor's cleansing. Yum.

Not bad at all. (once again don't forget to remember who was breathing down her neck!)

Temptations.

Necro 8th Armoured Company.

Colour scheme test (inspired by the Chinese Army) for my new Mechanized Imperial Guard army.  Painted up a trooper and a Chimera Transport Tank. Can't wait to get this army up! Painting is relatively quick for this army.

Trooper took about 45mins.

Tank about 2-3hrs.

However the conversion and shaving work required for the infantry on foot is insanely time consuming. Luckily this is an Armoured Company. 

Which means minimal guys on foot!

Dog Run @ West Coast Park

Took the 2 family Dogs out to the dog run at west coast park. It's also one of Nuggets first time out in a large open space to play.

As expected she seems quite uneasy roaming around.

Suddenly she becomes a wuss when she sees other dogs! She hugs my sister and refuses to come down.

New friends.

Nuggets won't leave the comfort zone. She simply looks at the other 2 dogs while sitting on my sister. Oh well, she'll learn and be brave soon enough.

Valkyrie Project Log 03. Complete.

It's finally done. Estimated around 8-10hrs including assembly and paintjob. 

Tried the new method of painting large vehicles, and it turned out well. Gonna be using this for my mechanized guard tanks. Will be showcasing an infantry I painted (color scheme test) for my Mechanized Guard soon!

I hate cereals for breakfast. But this is cool.
