2009 closing.

I will be away in Taiwan in less than 6 hours. And will only be back on the 1st of January 2010.
So here are some closing thoughts for the year. And my final post this year.

This year has seen many things happening that has affected me alot.

From relationships with friends and family, to directions in life after the proposal with Sandra and the many plans we have ahead for 2010.

To the many dramas in our family pets. Sunny being really ill and probably not being able to live any much longer. Ban Ban the american short hair cat from China. And Nuggets growing up all nicely.

So many nice things, too many to list in fact. I guess I have to think about it thoroughly and post when I get back next year.

Peace out all. Have a good remaining 2009.

2010 here we come. It's gonna be an insane year. \m/

Busy. Cancer. Cat.

Been really busy since I came back from KL. Lots of work to be done. Yoyos, schoolwork pending school re-opening next year. And not to mention all the psychological preparation (and shopping) to be done for my Taiwan trip which is going to be quite cold over there.

Fetching Sunny around and going to look after him every day. Because we don't want to leave him alone at home for too long. He is starting to look better. Hopefully he will go through this ordeal.

Part03 of family pets. Newest addition. Ban Ban. The china cat. Has arrived in Singapore this morning. We should be able to see him in the quarantine chamber/hotel this evening. Will post pics of the cat if I can.

Busy out.

The strongest boy in the world.

Sunny went for his operation yesterday. Doctor said it was a 50/50 chance for the operation. And 2 weeks after the operation, it would be a 50/50 chance that he would recover, the cancer cells would grow back, or the operation would simply be ineffective. Which would mean that he would not survive past next Chinese New Year.

After analyzing sunny the vet said he could not use anesthesia as he was too weak to accept it into his system. And the vet initially called off the operation. After much deliberation, he decided to go ahead without anesthesia, something which is extremely uncommon in the animal surgery field, as he would not know how dogs would react to pain.

Sunny, being the strong willed boy he has always been, lay completely still while the surgeon carried on the operation. That means he sat through the entire process of the surgeon cutting his forehead open and removing all the dead/cancerous cells and flesh from his forehead. Even part of the bone had to be removed.

He has survived the operation, now we shall all wait and pray that the cancer cells would not grow back. As the Vet has already told us there would be no second operation.

Sunny is now much better than before the operation, as the operation has removed much stress from the pressure inside his head. Thus causing much swelling and total discomfort prior to going under the knife.

Sunny has always been an extremely obedient, loving and the most perfect dog anyone would want in a dog. Never have I thought he would be so strong as to go through this ordeal just to survive longer for the ones he loves so much. Our family.

I know dogs can't read blogs (obviously). But this is my way of showing my gratitude for the world to know. And for those whose lives have been touched by sunny before one way or another.

Thank you Sunny. We all love you. Please be strong.

Sunass is getting old.

Part one of the family pets. Sunny (white dog) is now 12yrs old.

He has been with the family since he was a puppy. He was recently diagnosed with a tumor near his nose. And recently he has been extremely weak. The vet has already told our family to prepare for the worse. My sister is trying to get a flight back from China as soon as she can.

Those who know Sunny, please be prepared as well.
Those who don't, pray for him.

I always thought I was very free....

Upon settling down in front of my computer tonight I realized how tired I was.
And thinking back on my routines I have in a day (or two) I don't seem to be as free as I thought I was.

Let's see the typical day I have.

Wake up and immediately get called upon my Grandma to buy food for her at the market. Which means a 15min walk to and fro to get food at the market hawker centre.

Then I come home and head out to School/Meetings/Paktor(dating)/or (insert specific tasks here).

After which I would send everyone home (whoever they happen to be). Head back towards the west and head to the gas station to fill up the car.

Reach home and take a crap. Bathe. Apply toner. Apply moisturizer.

Wash my clothes (by hand). Hang clothes out to dry. Keep clothes that were dried. Fold clothes. This happens every 2-3 days once.

Turn on the Macbook. Check emails. Reply emails. Surf my daily sites. Update myself on the latest news and hype.

Get work done. Be it administrative (planning for next days ahead, finances record etc.) Or schoolwork. Or any outstanding work from whatever source.

Each day ends on average 2-3am.

I love having things to do. Beats bumming around rotting my life away. However,
when will my battery run out? When will I need more than the 4-5hrs sleep I get each day?

BBS

These rims are the only ones I want on my car. But it seems like I can't find it as no shop locally has it. And it is out of production. My best bet is ebay for a set that fits my JDM car. Which is 4x100PCD. And these wheels are european/US domestic market ones. So I have to get those that were made in JAPAN (which is extremely rare). And in 15" is even harder to get.

And these wheels go for around USD$1600-2000 for a set on Ebay.
Definitely a no way for me.

Unless I spend all my time scouring old scrapyards and car graves in Japan. I doubt anywhere in SG still has this!

Sometimes things just don't have to be logical.

Like a lady wearing heels all day, girls touching up thier make-up every hour in the toilet, guys buying 3 tins of hair wax to keep thier hair "out of bed", jeans so tight you can see your own balls. Sometimes we just do it because we want to. And we can. Sacrifices have to be made and embraced.

How suay can a person get?

One slip is all it takes to bring you down.

It doesn't matter how good you have been. Or how law abiding you 99% of the time are. 1% is all that is needed to put you in the pack of the 99% bad.

There is no such thing as karma. Or luck. Just shit.

A chat with the PM. And assembly in school.

I had lunch in the school canteen with Mr Lee Hsien Loong. We both had Nasi Padang. We talked about The Call of Cthulhu.

After which I quickly proceeded to the school hall for a dance performance by all the students in school. I met alot of familiar people. And they still loved me.

This had to be one of the stranger dreams that I remember in exact detail after I had woke up.

Carwash with Tiger in the morning!

Thirsty Tiger takes a sip!

"Tiger" is the name of a stray who lives at my block. Everyday I would see him either chilling at the carpark or at the staircase leading up to my place. Without fail each time, he would run up to me and try to rub and cuddle in between my legs. I would always spend about 15secs to a minute of my life talking to him.

This morning, Tiger took the initiative and accompanied me during my car wash. He was sitting next to me where ever I walked around the car as I washed it.

For a stray, he is already very obedient.
That's dedication.

Help yourself please.

You might be a ------------, you just don't know it. But then again maybe you're not. You might have been forced to be like this by yourself. Maybe your indulgences have taken over your life. But who made these indulgences so important? You try to hide it from people around you. How long do you think before everyone knows. I think I already know the truth. The future is bright. It will always be no mater how dark a world we live in. Look forwards. Forget the past. Do not allow things to fall deeper. Everyone who loves you still love you. No matter what has happened. Never let your wrongs direct the next step that you decide to take. We have the power to make things right again. You have the power to stop what you have been doing and what you are doing now. But then again do you want to?

Ask yourself. And Believe. Just believe.

Some time to rest.

Things are slowing down in school. For awhile at least.
Which can only be a good thing for me. I need some lull time.
