The most beautiful day this year.

The sun, blue blue blue skies, perfect temperature, little cars on the roads, beautiful girls on the beach. What more could a man want?

The weather today is brilliant. The skies were blue-er than any bottle of blue paint I have. And the sound of my tyres buzzing on the road could be heard as there were little vehicles on the roads.

Met Bertram at King Albert Park MacDonald's at 2pm. Stopped and realized my Speedo read 6.66km. The first sign of the Beast.

We then had a nice slow ride down to Lynten's shop. Was crowded and met many people there! Most importantly, Caine! My yoyo battle brother! We had tried to plan rides for so long. But could never get it to work. Unplanned and we had a hardcore perfect ride.

We decided to ride to east coast park. And use the newly built bike track all the way to Changi Village for Nasi Lemak. This is the first time in my riding life I ever rode to Changi Village.

I rode a total of 90+km today. Yeah....

I need more days like this.

First Mid year paper today. English. Hope the kids had fun.
Met up with some of the old boys for a chill cum rot session in town at night. And among the group of us we discovered that 3 of us were rocking the same label! Thats 3 pairs of Nudies. And more than $1000 worth of denim right there.

It's not often I hear a good new song nowadays. Let alone a POP SONG. But this one blew me away the very first time my eardrum came in contact with it. This stuff is gold.

How I wish I was stronger and fitter......

Will I ever be fit enough to do one? I know I need to get one in at least once in my life..... Arghh!!! Hate it why am I so fat!


The swim is based along Singapore's coast in warm, usually calm inshore waters. It is an ocean swim in saltwater, and commences with a number of waves starts from the beach. Singapore waters are warm, hence wetsuits will not be required. Visibility is about 1.5 meters. The course will take swimmers on a one lap rectangular course over 1.9kms in total as mapped.
The bike course is 98% fast and flat and the Aviva Ironman 70.3 Singapore bike leg promises a memorable and unique city course, not found in most races. Whilst fast, it will feature one technical aspect in each lap that needs to be remembered.
The run itself will take competitors along the shoreline of Marina Centre, the city park that overlooks the towering skyscrapers of the Central Business District. It has stunning panoramic views of the city skyline. The park has many shelters and benches and it is an excellent place for spectators to cheer on their favourite athletes!

Bike – 90.1kms
Run - 21.1kms

Yep. It's finally come to a stage where the days are numbered.

The 25 official numbers.
25 more morning assembly's.
25 more recesses.
25 more gate drive thru's. (with cool stoned face white bearded security)
25 more auntie's evil noodles & violent malay rice.
25 more apple cum orange juices.
25 more chances to walk past the malay noodles stall wondering why I have never eaten there before.
25 more drawing keys out for my art room.
25 more times I get to say 'good morning people' in my step voice.
25 more times to say "thank you guys' at the end of my lessons.
25 more infiltration into Christine's class to disturb the kids.
25 more chances to spread my 'darkness' around. (no more black teacher daily)
25 more times I get to say "Heellooo!" to the fishes in front of the Principal's office.

I'm so gonna miss my kids to death..... :(

25. More than just a number now.

I have 25. It's all there is. I have alot to say about it. But I just got home from a very frustrating ride in the rain. I hate rain. And I'm tired. It's another long day in school tomorrow because of speech day. I'll talk about 25 when speech day is over.

Sunday Morning Ride.

My therapy from escaping from the real world. Into the woods I go alone.
Went ahead with the ride as planned. Although I was super tired from the mad week in school. International Frienship Day. Bleah.... And once tomorrow comes. It'll be another mad rush. Speech Day next saturday. Worse....

Head pain and postman.

There's a sharp pain in the front part of my head (just above my left eye) constantly. Like every 30mins to a few hours or so. It has been happening since yesterday. I hope its nothing serious. I might have to see a doctor if this persists. Driving is super difficult when it strikes! Madness.....
And the postman came by today to drop off my super hero outfit! Watch out for fat cyclist superhero wannabe!

Was clearing up my store room. And found my old stash of yoyos. It must have been a good 10+ years of stuff.....

My Saturday......

My saturday consists of a nice black chinese fan, yoyojam lubricant, Mercury shims, a strange love story book and a nice green yoyo with a rubber ball attached to it. Simple times.

Sometimes. Hearing something from the mouth of someone close to you really hits hard. I never thought people would see me this way. But apparently this seems to be the way it is. I guess I was wrong.
